I’m consumed with stories. Consumed by stories. Constantly consuming stories. All these are true, although likely in a different order. Which is probably how I ended up here, I won’t speculate on how you ended up here.
This weblog is an attempt to fuse the sanity of my storytelling world with the dumbshow of the rest of my universe. As the Ginsberg quote goes, “Well, while I’m here I’ll do the work — and what’s the work? To ease the pain of living. Everything else, drunken dumbshow.”
That said, a disclaimer: DrunkenDumbshow.com is merely my writing space and mind, and is not at all related to Allen Ginsberg other than the name.
